Report, act and reassess
Step 8 of 8: connect the findings to action and measure what changes
The final step connects the findings, the recommendations and the action pathways in the report and portal. Each recommendation links to the finding that prompted it, and each finding to the evidence behind it.
The assessment is then repeated to measure change, review the effect of action and strengthen the evidence base.
What this step involves
- A report and portal that keep the original question, evidence, findings and recommendations connected.
- Action pathways that set out what to do next.
- Reassessment at an agreed point, using the same criteria.
Why it matters
Reassessment is what turns a review into a system. It shows whether the experience of the relationship has moved, whether the original differences have narrowed and whether the action taken made a measurable difference. Each cycle adds to the evidence base, so the next decision starts from a stronger position than the last.
