Gather comparable perspectives
Step 5 of 8: collect views on a common basis
Responses are collected from the relevant internal and partner participants against the same assessment criteria. This creates a shared evidence base for comparison.
Because everyone answers the same questions, differences between views can be attributed to experience of the relationship and not to differences in how the questions were put.
What this step involves
- Inviting the people who see different parts of the relationship, such as commercial, delivery, finance and governance, on both sides where the scope allows.
- Putting the same questions and criteria to each participant.
- Capturing supporting evidence alongside the scores.
Why it matters
A relationship looks different depending on where you stand in it. Collecting those views on a common basis shows where they agree, where they differ and where one group holds evidence that others do not see, before any conclusion is drawn.
